Morbid Music of the Month (July)

Top five songs that I have been addicted to sometime in the month of July:

Top Song of the month:
The Clockwork Quartet- The Doctor's Wife

I am absolutely in love with this song. It has been stuck on replay for probably several days this month, I can listen to it over and over and never tire of it. I find this song so moving. It is about a doctor whose wife is terminally ill, the doctor records her progress every month and although it is obvious she will not live, he still insists on trying. You can almost hear the madness in his voice near the end. His determination and the hopelessness of the situation, mixed with the female vocals, cello, and violin is just beautiful.

Another excellent song by The Clockwork Quartet is 'The Watchmaker's Apprentice'.

Runner ups:
Abney Park- Steampunk Revolution (Very fun and catchy!)
Rasputina- Tourniquet (Rasputina covering Marilyn Manson's 'Tourniquet'. I personally think that this song is better than the original)
Deathstars- Greatest Fight on Earth (Amazing song.)
Emilie Autumn- Time For Tea (what can I say? It's about tea.)
